What This Is

These terms cover your use of Shitty Mom Guide (the newsletter and website at shittymomguide.com) and Frankie by SMG (an SMS-based weekend planning assistant). Both are operated by Small Batch Ventures LLC.

By subscribing to the newsletter, using the website, or texting JOIN to start a Frankie trial, you agree to these terms.

The Service

Frankie provides activity recommendations, event suggestions, and weekend planning assistance for families in Orange County, California via SMS. Recommendations are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or current availability of any venue, event, or activity listed.

Always verify event details directly with the venue before you go. Frankie is not a safety service and should not be used during emergencies.

Free Trial & Subscription

• Frankie includes a 28-day free trial — no credit card required to start
• After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue service
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment information.
• No refunds for partial billing periods
• To cancel, email frances@shittymomguide.com or text STOP to end SMS service

SMS Terms

By texting JOIN, you consent to receive recurring automated SMS messages from Shitty Mom Guide / Frankie by SMG. Message frequency: approximately 1 message per week plus occasional service messages. Message and data rates may apply.

• Text STOP to cancel at any time
• Text HELP for help
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

Your Obligations

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer any part of the system
• Share your account access with others
• Use the service if you are under 18

Google Calendar Integration

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, you authorize Frankie to read your calendar and create events on your behalf when requested. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings or by messaging Frankie "disconnect my calendar."

Content Disclaimer

All recommendations, event listings, and spot descriptions on shittymomguide.com and in the Frankie SMS service are curated from community sources and local research. We do our best to keep information current but cannot guarantee accuracy. Always check before you go.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms. You can delete your account and data at any time by texting "delete my data" to Frankie or emailing frances@shittymomguide.com.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Small Batch Ventures LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Shitty Mom Guide or Frankie. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Orange County, California.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via newsletter or SMS to active subscribers.
