Most open Memorial Day weekend and run through Labor Day, typically 9am–5pm or 9am–7pm. A few are open year-round. Hours vary by location and can change — always check the official site or call ahead before you make the drive.
Smaller spray features and shallower water are better for little ones. Heritage Community Park in Irvine and several Irvine city parks tend to have well-maintained equipment suitable for toddlers. Check the "Ages" spec on each card for guidance.
It varies significantly. Some have none at all (Mile Square in Fountain Valley is fully exposed by midday). Others have canopy structures or nearby tree shade. The shade rating on each card is the fastest way to know what you're walking into.
